Picnicing

Whoop Whoop to having picnics in the sun. Which is exactly what me and Sarah did today. We made up sammwiches and packed up some other tasties and took a long, if not slightly detoured walk down Walker Street to Queen's Park. We totally missed the Brass band though which wasn't the plan.

Suppose that's what happens when you can't be bothered getting out of bed. By the time we mucked about around the house, got brekkie etc it was about midday. Yeah yeah mad dogs and Englishmen and all that nonsense. But don't stress peoples we wore sunscreen. Prefer to be called mad dogs thanks very much.

Got down there and found a shaded spot underneath a tree, which was lovely apart from the breeze. We munched our way through some cheese sammwiches and some chicken ones. Yay! I make a mean sammwich and you know it. Then we decided to start wandering around the park, which is massive! We walked up the hill to where the mini steam train runs....yes we did go on it, like the big kids we are. It only cost $1. And we drove around on it like it was the most thrilling ride ever, photos will prove as such. Also incidentally got videod by some random dude who was watching his kid on it. We were making enough noise anyway. It was a good giggle, with our knees practically hitting our noses.

So after releasing the inner kid in both of us, we found a nice spot over looking the water in the sun so we could eat our strawberries and cream. And oh man did they hit the spot. Mucked about tkaing pictures of us on the cannons and then we headed up to the swing park. Yup you guessed it, we went on everything, pictures again prove as such. We rocked people's socks today and there is no question.

We finally decided it was time to be a little bit more mature again and started the trek back up Walker Street. Most def easier walking up and down Kent street. More direct, but not for what we were wanting to do today.

Collapsed on bed and continued chatting, don't think either of us have taken a breath today. Poor Sarah will need a holiday from her holiday, even just to recover her air. We played a puzzle game on the DS, I may have to buy that for myself. Very addictive nonsense.

Sarah met Lyn, which was quite cool. Dinner and just before I sat down I got to speak to Shayne, who asked if I was here with the bf...poor guy is a bit behind on the goss. That was a tad awkward, but nevermind. Sarah managed to eat the equivalent of one whole chicken leg. She hates food on the bone, but she gave it damn good try. I was impressed, she also seemed to like the vegies. But Bill is a good cook.

So anway, now I/we must depart so we can actually upload our silly photos. They will be on bebo and Facebook so go there.

Sarah Arrives

So yeah Sarah finally got here. And I'll be willing to bet that the time she is here will fly by. Typical really. Woke up at 3.30am and out the door by 4.45am to be there on timeish. 3 Hours drive to Brisbane and all that. Not a bad drive, talked politics with Bill all the way down, well that and odd weather lol.

Met her at the airport, where she had already met some random dude. When we arrived she was comparing British coins to the Aussie coins. I'm so glad she has made it her mission to find me friends...not that it will be a challenge for her.

So the three of us pile into the car. Tried to put Sarah's case in the boot but the lawnmower was there instead, so we just parked it on the back seat. Sarah was surprisingly awake and chatty for having just travelled 27 hours. How amazing is that, that she came over. Whoop! Drove for a bit, then stopped in Gympie town to get something to eat and so Bill could get a coffee. Ate then headed off on the final leg of the journey.

Sarah unpacked some of her stuff, gave me a funky white dressw with cherries on it, very 50's styleee, but it's a bit snug. It can go in the drawer until I shed a bit more weight/tone up what I have. Very funky though. After she had a shower we went downstairs for a bit and played some pool, I got my ass handed to me, just a bit. I say it was just cos I was distracted by Sarah's awesomeness :-D

We also played some darts, which was fun. I couldn't find the cloth to erase the marker pen off the board though so we just played around the world. Nightmareish game. Went back upstairs sat and watched a bit of CSI, then Sarah finally gave up and decided that bed was a really good idea. I kinda knew she would crash before 7. It happened to me. But she is sitting her now, bright as a daisy..bitch! It;s clearly just me who needed to sleep for 24 hours straight.

Will most likely update everyday with our adventures, or maybe not you will just have to wait and see har har.

Oh and how fantastic, I have 12 potato scones and a bottle of Irn Bru. Already had one of the bottles of Bru and the potato scones can wait until I have a hangover. Will be trying potato scones with steakettes to see how that stands against the potato scone/square sausage combo. I'm sure it won't be the same but it's worth a shot. Surprised she got it all through customs, must just have charmed her way through hehe.

Anyway, time to scoot and get showered so we can go and book our Ship to Shore tour thing. Plus it will kill about an hour or so.

Toddles.

The Weekend

This may not be the most well constructed entry that I will ever create but I am so beyond tired right now, which doesn't make any sense.

Last weekend I was awake for over 40 hours and was not nearly as tired as I am right now and I wasn't even drinking this weekend. Well not excessively anyway. Had a grand total of two drinks.

Anyway I digress.

On Friday, causally flipping through the newspaper like you do and I come across a job ad for Toast the Espresso Bar. Damn near jumped out my seat with excitement...ok slight exaggeration there, but I felt a little buzz. Got myself fed and ready to face the world before heading down to town to hand in my resume. Got to Toast and had an informal chat with Vince the manager. Told him when I was available to work, had a bit of banter then left feeling quite positive. After handing in my resume and my little chat I took a walk to Station Square to see if I could find a funky pair of pj's seeing as the nights are getting pretty bloody cold over here. But that's ok it's winter...I don't know who would ever call this winter but hey I am not complaining. Managed to find a really funky pair of bright yellow flannelette pj's with monkey's on them. Very cosy too. Ran into Di while I was browsing DVD's. Beth and Bill were going out that night so I had decided that I was going to sit curled up, watching movies and pigging out. So instead of having to scuff my way back to the bus stop I managed to get a lift off Di back to Beth's. Bonus I would say. I bought three dvd's for $25 and they are 'Chocolat' with a very yummy looking Johnny Depp, 'Save the Last Dance' which is simply classic and 'Walk the Line" with Reese Witherspoon and which I have not yet watched. I'm sure it will be a fantastic movie...hmm idea. I sat with my Toblerone, in my pj's, house to myself sobbing like a little girl with a skint knee while watching the movies. I am a sap and I have never denied it. Also incidentally decided that I would like to be courted 19th century style, you know roses and letters declaring the intention. Just the general grand romantic gestures. I think that would be rather swishy.

Saturday was a rather intersting day/night. Got up early to go to the Back To Burrum reunion thing. I figured it would have been quite interesting to see old photos and stuff, but actually I could not have been more bored. Mostly because the organisers decided that the photo display would be held on Sunday instead. That just made no sense to me, why not have it both days. Ah well. The whole day, which included some country singers and a parade and a few stalls, seemed a bit thrown together, but that is not to say that the organisers didn't put in a lot of effort. I just felt it could have been better run and managed.
After being in Howard all morning, we drove back to Maryborough, dropped Auntie Fran at home, then Beth and I headed to Gympie. Bill was away all weekend golfing and Beth had a rare weekend off, so she decided to go and see Lyn and I simply took the opportunity that arose to go and be surrounded by young, sexy, like minded people. It rained all night though which was a bit of a downer but hey what's a bit of water to someone from Scotland. Met up with Caitlin and Dave and the rest of the gang. Chilled out for a while, before getting changed and heading upstairs to the pub, which was holding a fundraiser for Shaynae a girl who is dying with a brain tumour. Busy busy though or at least the busiest I have seen it. It was a great night. Started on a high note, laughing and carrying on, abusing Scottish and then giggling at the Aussies looking confused at the banter. Bit of drama by the middle of the night. Couple of the regulars came in dressed in women's clothing and everyone else was loving it, just having a bit of fun, feeling their sock boobs etc and this one bunch of friggin idiots tried to ruin it for everyone. Started shouting dogs abuse about the guys being gay, queer, faggots etc. I'm not even just talking about a little bit of verbal abuse or a muttered insult. I do mean proper abuse, getting up in their faces and the like. Morons. Poor Davey boy got all riled up defending his friends and rightly so, anyone with a shred of dignity would have done the same thing. Nearly ended up in a proper bar brawl though. Me, in five inch heels on wet decking with a bit of help from D ended up holding Dave back. Think we did a pretty good job of calming him down especially since the idiot riling Dave up spat in Dave's face. I'm surprised we all kept our cool and nobody got punched in the jaw. There was maybe six of us, including Scottish telling the homophobe to back off. Then his equally homophobic bumchum decided to be a smarmy git and blow smoke delibrately in my face twice, while trying to stare me down. I said to him "try that once more and see what happens to you". Didn't exactly say it politely either, needless to say he didn't do it a third time and him and his "thou dost protest too much, so far in the closet he's in narnia" mate gave up after throwing in a couple of idle threats. Very macho guy, very appealing. Dickheads! I have no time nor patience for pointless wastes of flesh like them. They were obviously out just to cause trouble. Pathetic little boys who need to wake up, come out the closest and get themselves a set of balls. /end rant.
The night picked up again, we all calmed down and got to enjoying the rest of the evening. Singing and dancing to the very eclectic playlist of jukebox tunes. Ended up being a great night. Much giggling on my part ;-). Some other stuff went down throughout the night, but thankfully we weren't involved. Ended up crashing at Dave's flat. It's way too easy to roll down the hill to comfort after a night on the piss at the North. Oh, I also found a North lighter. That got pocketed. Finders keeper's and all that razzmatazz jazz. Dave is such a sweetheart, he needs a good woman :-)
So yeah sleep came at about 4am ish this morning which is damn good considering last week.

Today, the Sabbath, day of rest, whooper with cheese meals and some girly gossip. Damn good way to spend a Sunday if you ask me. Woke Cait up with a cigarette that Dave had rolled for her and a cup of tea. By far the best way to wake someone up after a night on the town. Hell even if you don't smoke the tea is still a pretty good thing to wake up to. I would probably jump, maybe even marry the person who after a night out on the town over here, woke me up with a cup of tea...coo and two please...and a roll with potato scone, square sausage and hp brown sauce on it, well at least I would after I had eaten the roll that can only be described as heaven and the greatest hangover cure on the planet. Sorry, I drifted off there, could almost taste the potato scone. Although I may have found something that could be similiar to a square sausage, they are called steakettes have the same kinda texture. Now just to learn how to make my own potato scones.

And on that note...

Ocean and Jigsaws

Yesterday was a day for buying and receiving brain stuff. I got up wandered into the kitchen and Beth handed me an amazon package. It had two cd's in it. Now that's what I call Music 25 years and Status Quo greatest hits, which was actually meant to be Ac/Dc Black Ice, but it's all good. So that little thing pleases the ears.

After Breakfast we headed out to Hervey Bay and in the mail box, the postie had left me a nice present. That would be my D&D player's handbook. Yay I can figure everything out on my own time now instead of having to wait for Glen to come up. Bonus!

Just before heading to Hervey Bay, Lou went to the gym and I went to centrelink. Was quite quick didn't have to wait an hour whoop! Money in bank today, money also sent to mother. Oh a week tomorrow and Sarah gets here!!

Got to Hervey Bay and the first thing I did was to take my shoes off and roll up my jeans. I practically ran so I could stand in the water. It was like glass yesterday, so very calm barely a wave. I just stood there and looked out to the horizon, breathing deeply and thinking too much. The more I think the more I want to live at the ocean. Maybe it will happen if I can find a job at the Sunshine Coast to live with Cait, we will see. I was standing there and I was very tempted jus tto throw myself into the water regardless of the fact that I was fully dressed and had no towel. Must learn to always carry my towel with me, afterall it is an essential item.

We wandered into a sweet shop just before going for lunch and I bought rubhard and custard boiled sweets and a nougat. Yummy! I've not had rubhard and custard sweets for ages and they are still as good as they have always been. We headed to Chatters and pigged out on wedges with sour cream, chilli sauce, cheese and bacon. They are so tasty. After stuffing our faces Beth and Lou went into Dan Murphy's to buy grog and I walked over to Centro so I could check my money and buy a jigsaw. That's what the picture is, this is what it should like after I finish. Will need to get Bill to cut me a board I can use for the puzzle. It's 1000 pieces, I saw another one I really liked but that was 2000 pieces, figured it made more sense to start off smallish. It's not the puzzle that I originally wanted but I love it and when I am finished I am going to get it framed. Bugger knows where I will put it once it's framed but it will become a centre of focus when I get my own place, which god knows when that will be, hopefully before the end of the year. Need a bloody well job first. But alas that is the way of things for just now. Was looking at job website and it's typical there are loads of journalism jobs in Melbourne and Sydney but not here in Queensland. Hmm what can you do other than keep handed out resumes. Need to seriously think about stuff, especially my RSA and Gympie.

Anyway. Nothing else really of note at the moment.

Offt arse!

Pictures looked different while I was typing. First pic is the Rivers shoes, second pic is the boots. Although really that is fairly obvious.

Shopping!

So the first picture is a picture of the brand new boots that I bought today. They are unusual and not really my normal style but hey feck it. I needed an image haul. They were $60 and I needed a pair of tan boots anyway, plus they are cosy. It's winter over here, gets cold at night.

The second picture is a picture of the comfy little shoes I bought out of Rivers today. They will be great for walking about in, especially now that my trainers are seriously starting to wear out. Yes it was a bit of a retail therapy day today. It was good fun. The trainers were only $28 so they were a bargain to boot. And yes I did just justify buying two pairs of shoes. I did actually need both pairs.

As for the third picture this is a picture of the outfit I bought last week for $6.50. I love it. It looks so fantastic on me, very feminine though, very unlike me *shrugs* Doodles also makes a little cameo in this third picture. He is way too cute.

So Anyway, how about an actual update?

Drove around Queensland today. Started off Beth, Lou and I went to Rivers for their shoe sale, where I also bought a new jumper which is purple but not worthy of a photo. We then drove to Howard to catch up with Glen and Jamie, and to find out about a Howard reunion thing that is happening this weekend. Sat in the sun for maybe 20 minutes tops and when I got back in the car I noticed I had a pink tinge on my arms. I am actually going to suffer in Summer. I found it uncomfortable today and it was only about 24ish. After visiting the boys, we headed to Childers where we caught up with Bonnie and then had lunch with Dianne and where we all spent lots of money on shoes. Ironic really that the girl serving us was from Britain. She just laughed at me, because as ever I am standing there chatting away not caring if i'm not being listened to lol. We went up to Dianne's place where we had the nicest cappacino and where I learned how to eat Tim Tams properly. You bit off one corner then bite off the opposing corner on the bottom, you stick the biscuit in your hot drink and suck until you feel the liquid hit your mouth, then you flip the biscuit and eat it before it disintergrates. Messy but fun and tasty. We wandered the property for a while, huge place. They have their own damn (min river more like) and cattle and a metal graveyard. Huge!

After being at Dianne's we headed over to the other side of town to Biggeden to see Greg. His place is up a dirt track and is also massive. His chooks had laid eggs in a hidey hole that he didn't think to look and he seemed shocked when I told him I had never been on a horse. But then he is a Horse whisperer or was. We had dinner, a curry flavoured stew, was good. Gaye and the kids got back we chatted for a while before we headed back to Howard cos Glen said he might have come down tonight, but when we got there he had changed his mind so we finally headed back to Maryborough where I tried on my full outfit with the boots. Yup looking good biatch. And now I am talking to Graham online, have just about finished my entry for the day and am a tad hungry.

Hmm so there!

Mad weekend

Ahh! I'm all refreshed after what was a mental weekend.

I got up at 9am on Friday morning, showered, made sure I had everything I needed and then waited about until Caitlin and Dave turned up to take me to Gympie for the weekend. We chatted and laughed for the hour drive. Got to Gympie and first thing Cait and I did was to go get a subway. Good stuff. We ate our food, milled about a bit, then went upstairs to the North. We played a lot of pool and I'm still total crap at it. Started drinking quite early, although as it turns out didn't drink that much. Was mostly just hyper. At about 8ish we went back downstairs to get changed, were going out dancing. Got back upstairs someone went to KFC, we ate more junk and continued to drink. Wayne appeared which was cool, ended up dancing about to some heavy metal playing pool with him all night. His ex showed up so in order to stop him getting all meh I fed him more booze and challenged him to pool, not that it was really a challenge, let's face it. Had a good laugh at Scottish snorting salt, drinking tequilla and squeezing the lemon into his eye. Nuts I tell ya. Adam showed up too which was pretty sweet. At about 1am Cait headed off to the Shaft. I didn't go along I was having too much fun where I was and besides it wasn't like I was alone. I do love that pub and the people who go to it. They are all so great. Made me consider moving to Gympie, but only if i could get a really good job where I could get my own place like straight away. Hmm we'll see. Left The North at about 2ish and headed downstairs to wait on Cait getting back from the shaft. Had a giggle with Dave and the rest of the guys. It was bloody freezing though sitting outside. Could actually see my breath. Brr. Cait got back and we all ended up sitting up all night talking and watching Californication. Good series actually. Dave, Caitlin and me did attempt sleep at like 7am but it just wasn't happening. I think we all got about 30 minutes tops.

Saturday started off as a really lazy, lethargic day and no wonder. Especially poor Dave he was suffering from the worst headache but then he had been up 30 hours by about 1am Friday. So he crashed out for a couple of hours. While Dave was crashed out Caitlin and I dragged our tired very slightly hungover bodies to Centro, for a bit of a browse and to get liquid refreshment. New hangover cure...flavoured ice drinks. Wow it actually just makes you feel so much better, total genius I am it was my idea hehe. After we had a bit of a wander about but not really feeling the retail therapy vibe we headed back to the flat, sat for a bit before heading back upstairs to start playing more pool and to start drinking again. I'm sure my liver won't forgive me for this mad little stint but it was bloody good fun. Neither me or Cait could be bothered dressing up again so jeans and hoodies it was. We also didn't think we would last as long as we did before crashing out. I was drinking Long vodkas all night. Lethal. They don't taste like booze and by the end of the night I was getting fed doubles. It was amazing. It was actually a very interesting night. I got kissed by two different guys. Chris and Scottish. Although I only kissed Scottish because when I ordered two shots of tequilla, the barman said he had no lemon or lime. So Scottish said we had to lick the salt, take the shot and then kiss each other, so we did. Rather amusing to say the least. I also had the tastiest Big Mac meal. Adam had come up after playing soccer, chatted for a bit then was headed to McD's, I hadn't eaten very much during the day so it was damn tasty. Wasn't as cold on Saturday night which was nice. Turned part of the North into a mini rock club, after I got booted out of the Pool comp in the first round hehe. No drama's it was all for a bit of fun. But yeah there is a juke box on one side of the pub, myself, chris and the two guys Dan and Tyler were playing doubles at pool and just kept pumping money into this juke box, playing anything from Metallica to Korn to Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin, even put NIN closer on. Oops not the best idea. Then this guy Jason came up and gave us two dollars and told us to pick songs. I asked him why and he just said he was too lazy to choose his own then bought me a drink :-) Met a random bunch of girls who Luke was with, who incidentally took photos a couple that I am in. For the life of me I can't remember their names, but I gave one of them my facebook so hopefully she will add me soon and I can steal the pics. I decided in the pub that I was going to aim to stay up for 48 hours, but by 1.30 I decided that actually enough was enough and that I had made a fair effort so therefore it was time for bed. Hauled my ass back down stairs, spoke to Calyb for a bit before passing out.

Woke up on Sunday morning to Chris the barman leaning over me grinning. That was at like 10ish. Needless to say felt a bit rough around the edges. Chris poured me a very cold orange juice which went down well and we lounged about watching the first series of House. Can't beleive I have never watched it before, it's great. That's potentially 2 new serials I could become addicted to. Californication and House. Got ready to go meet Bill, who was picking up Beth's friend, at McD's. I can't beleive how much fast food I've eaten this weekend. I got mcnuggets which I have not had in so long, and a caramel Sundae. Yummmy. Bill and Louisa showed up, got themselves a coffee and then we headed back to Maryborough, where Beth had organised a BBQ. That was a lot of fun, stuff ourselves silly with food, including a steak that Bill got me...it wasn't a steak, it was half a bloody cow. Gorgeous piece of meat cooked to perfection and I couldn't finish it because of the amount of nibbles we had before hand. That sucked. But seriously this piece of meat was hoooooge! I gave it a good attempt mind you. We played darts, which lasted forever because we all ended up needing to get a double 1. Nightmare! Then I played myself at pool and still lost hehe. It was great fun actually, quite funny because we all unintentionally seperated. The men were at one side of the room and the ladies at the other *shrug*. I was quite impressed with myself, I stayed awake until 11.30 before giving up and sleeping.

Woke up this morning refreshed and now I have done what I wanted to online, but what to do now. Hmm. More updates during the week I am sure. May be going back to Gympie this weekend with Beth and then in 11 Days Sarah will be here. Can't wait!

Enough for just now.

Just a Quickie

So yeah as the title suggests this is just a quick little update. The picture is the start of my D&D gaming collection. Just waiting on my player's manual and as of the 2nd July me and Glen will be part of a D&D group. From the initial discussions I think we have a good DM, he will still take the game fairly seriously but is keen to still have fun with it. That's the key, a bit of silliness never went amiss.

Also as a quick side note, I bought the nicest, most flattering outfit today and it only cost me $6.50. A skirt and a top, now to hunt out a decent pair of either knee high or ankle boots. I'm on a mission. Also bought another skirt for $4.50 and it's only a size 14 and loose at that. Yesterday went on a bit of a shopping spree, bought some D&D stuff, a dress which is red, a new belt and some new underwear. The dress is a sort of shirt style and is really designed to be worn over something, but a thick pair of tights and a pair of heels or boots and it will work really well. I was surprised actually how well it fitted me. Hugged the right bits and actually my waist is smaller than I imagined. Now to tone up a bit more and I'll be practically perfect hehe.

Other than that not much else to write about. Going to Gympie tomorrow for the weekend for girlie nights out. Yay! Am taking camera so should be plenty of pictures to oogle, if you can be bothered hehe. It's about time I started keeping photos of my adventures. Part of me wishes I was going to the Download festival in Donington, but alas it would be entirely impossible. Maryborough is seriously lacking in a rock pub/club or at least I haven't found one yet, maybe Sarah will help with that.

Hmm anyway time for dinner.

Monday 8 June 2009

A week already

Yeah so I was busy apparently and now have a whole week if not more to update you all with. Kept getting distracted and serious lack of inspiration.

From the 29th may to the 2nd of June I was in Howard with Glen and Jamie. Me and Glen played a bit of D&D, listened to some radio and then watched Doctor Who after drinking copious amounts of wine and rum on my part. Wasn't even drunk, well was tipsy and challenged Glen to an all nighter...he failed. I lived off food from around at the local cafe, she makes a gorgeous Works burger and the chips with chicken salt are just yummy. The place isn't really expensive either. Was only $6.50 for the Works burger which is like 3.25 in pounds...I hate this not having a pound sign. Headed back to Maryborough the Tuesday afternoon and I don't remember doing much.

Didn't do much of note on Wednesday, pretty sure it was just a lazy day.

Thursday was a good day. Had to go to centrelink to sort out the unemployment stuff. Sat for about an hour or so but then the girl says "Oh you're owed quite a bit of money" woohoo. So that was that sorted. After finishing up at centrelink, I wandered a little around the market. Bought myself a Dragonfruit. Weirdest looking fruit I've ever seen. It's bright pink with strange spikey leaves. It tastes pretty damn good too. I headed back to the house, got some lunch and got ready to head out to the games store for D&D with Glen. We stopped in at Station Square did some photo copying and got something to eat. I was completely in my element. I was surrounded by geeks of the worst kind and was the only female there. I'm talking Magic, D&D, Warhammer playing geeks. Found one of them very cute too. Another one was giving me lots of information about a local Scottish Society who are having a medieval night on the 25th July. I may go along to see what that's all about. It's only $40 a year too. If I can figure out a way to get there then I will certainly join. Hell they play laser tag and things down that way. Sounds like good fun to me. So after we agreed with a couple of the guys to start up a D&D group Glen and I walked home. Only took about 30-40 minutes. Played another game, made a couple more characters and then I headed to bed. Was a productive day overall. Sense of achievement accomplished.

It's been a very D&D orientated week actually. Hmm I am turning into a nerd hehe. On Friday I bought the basic game. It came with 4 dungeon mats, 12 miniatures and 7 dice. Also came with a rule book and a few scenarios. I figure I've spent the money on it now so I am going to stick with it. Keeps the brain active too. Also satisfied my Stationery thing. Have a bit of a thing for buying pens etc and had to buy a bunch of pencils for D&D. Yay! Glen and I played for a bit and I looked for some more jobs filling out my job seekers diary at the same time. And that was really it for Friday.

On Saturday, I woke up fairly early, well early for me, pottered about made breakfast and then went downstairs to talk to Glen and guess what played a bit more D&D. The more I play the more I am starting to get it, which is a good thing if I am to take part in a group. Started my dice collection. It's completely necessary. No D&D player only has one set of dice so why should I be any different. Glen and I went for a walk through Glasgow too...Glasgow street that is which is only ten minutes from Aberdeen. I find this amusing, but then I would I'm a simple creature really. Have discovered that I am addicted to Bill's mum's/aunt's home made pickle and her tomato relish, especially with cheese on bread. After I made myself dinner, which was steak, sausage, egg and some tomatoes I sat and watched Cat & Dogs on tv. By that time I had enough of D&D my brain was starting to hurt, besides I love that movie. It's so funny...Cat's Rule. Straight after Cats &Dogs, Date Movie came on. Had me in stitches. It is total stupid humour but it was really very funny. I ate some ice cream and then went to bed.

Woohoo onto Sunday! What a day. First thing I did after my shower, was spray my hair bright pink http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/profile.php?id=503827575&ref=profile for pics. I was going to upload them here but right now I have a splitting headache and actually it's not alcohol induced. The reason behind spraying my hair pink was that I was headed out on the World's Greatest Pub Crawl with Bill and it was Pink theme to support breast cancer charity The McGrath Foundation. Had to complete 13 pubs in 6 hours. It's an excuse for thousands of people to dress up, be silly and drink in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday. Incidentally Bill and I completed 12 out of 13 pubs. The one we missed was mobbed and I mean it was going to take us an hour to get into the pub let alone get served. There were so many good bands playing, including Red Betty who do a brilliant Pink Floyd cover. Well done guys. Some mad outfits. There was a guy done up as a pig and on his back he had written 'infectious'. Also a guy who looked like his face had been melted off, and on his overalls was 'Toxic Waste Depot'. Classic funny, the makeup was brilliant as well. There really were so many mad costumes. I was really rather drunk. Got a KFC and damn it was good. Ever noticed how things like that always taste so much better when you are drunk? Like chips and cheese for instance just does not taste the same if they are not being eaten next to central station in the freezing cold drunk as a skunk with a glass bottle of bru to polish them off with. Hmmm Irn Bru, hmm square sausage and potato scone...ok craving some Scottish food. Pub Crawl finished at 6pm, I was sober by 10pm. I got lots of comments on the paw prints and ended up covered in pink writing which included a giant penis on my back *rolls eyes*. Ought to have seen the state of me trying to reach my back to wash it all off when I got home and then again this morning trying to get the bits I missed off. Passed out pretty quickly. Oh and guess what Maryborough took the record back. Ha take that NY. I feel proud of the fact that I helped the record be reclaimed. Go Me!

OUCH!!!! May get something to eat a couple of asprin and go to bed. my head is splitting.

So today, I got up and Beth was on a mad cleaning spree. I offered to help and got given a piece of wood that is used to mount the dart board to paint white. I'm thinking it's been the paint and seriously lack of fluids today that has created a headache. Feels like my brain is about to seep out my nose or my ears, more so the nose. Also thought I was going grey today, but it was just a really light blonde streak of hair. Beth gave me two bottles of nail polish too. Bought myself the playres handbook for D&D.

So that was my eventful week then.

That Is All
